“How do you stay cool in the summer?”, is a frequent question guests might ask. Having moved from Seattle in 1994, Tucson’s weather was definitely a change for Beth and Bob. To enjoy the summer months, we’ve learned to enjoy mornings – usually thirty degrees cooler than the daytime high – taking early walks, and the evenings, marvelous after sunset! Since Arizona never switches to daylight saving time, the sun sets earlier than in its neighboring states. Wonderful evening walks under the moonlight and stars are pure pleasure and a swim after dark is twice as nice. But the best kept secret around is Mt. Lemmon – just 1 mile from the door of Jeremiah Inn Bed and Breakfast begins the highway that will end at 9000 feet elevation and alpine fir trees and much cooler temperatures – think Colorado in your backyard.
