“Music in the Park” Welcomes Summer in Tucson

Arizona Symphonic Winds begins its Summer 2008 Concert Series at nearby Udall Park, this Saturday, May 17, 7pm.  Aaaahhh…..it’s hard to imagine how pleasant it is to bring your picnic dinner (or perhaps pick up take-out at Tucson’s famous El Charro Restaurant), settle your sport chairs or blanket we’ll provide, on the grassy slope at Udall Park (5 miles from Jeremiah Inn), and soak in the elegant and exciting music offered by Arizona Symphonic Winds under the starlit desert sky with an almost full moon!  Bob and Beth have been concert sponsors in past years and recently gifted the highly patriotic and Hungarian born maestro, Laszlo Veres, with an American Flag that had been flown in his honor over the U. S. Capitol.  It was greatly appreciated by Conductor Veres.  Let the music begin!
