Tucson is getting ready for the Gem and Mineral Show!
If you like things that sparkle and “bling”, get ready, because Tucson is preparing to host the world’s largest Gem and Mineral Show. Vendors from all over the world converge on Tucson for about two weeks from January 30 – February 15, 2009. They bring with them everything from rocks, to crystals, to beads, to petrified dinosaur droppings (I am not kidding!), to semi-precious and precious gem stones. We have heard it said from guests who are professionals in the trade, “If you don’t find it in Tucson, you won’t find it”.
Buyers, too, converge from over the globe, looking to stock their businesses for the coming year. Given the “quieter” economy of these times, there may well be some excellent bargains to be had. Jeremiah Inn Bed and Breakfast still has rooms available for many of the dates of the Tucson show, so call soon!
